Pacific Solar is a family operation based in Fresno, CA with more than 40 years of experience in the building industry. Our parent company, Valley Pacific, was formed in 1982 by the Wasemiller family and in 2008, Pacific Solar was formed by David Wasemiller, his son Michael, and friend Garland Nelson.
The Wasemillers have deep roots in Fresno and have owned businesses here for over 100 years. The Nelson family has been in the San Joaquin Valley for over 70 years and has made great contributions to the area.
As a family business, our team is flexible and committed to ensuring our clients get the custom designed solar systems they expect. We can dedicate our time to provide our clients with high quality service and peace of mind through out the process. We thrive on family spirit and team effort. P. David Wasemiller
President // Valley Pacific Builders, Inc.
Since graduating from California State University at Hayward in 1972, David Wasemiller has worked in business management. He has an extensive background in real estate development and construction, both commercial and residential. In 2008, he helped form Pacific Solar, a Valley pacific Builders company. David manages sales, contracts and day-to-day operations.
Patricia Wasemiller

Patty banking experience led her to VP positions in Founders Title, Chicago Title Company, as well as Owner / Board of Directors with Central Title Company. She joined the family business at Valley Pacific Builders, Inc. and helped form Pacific Solar in 2008. She currently manages accounting and office personnel.
L. Garland Nelson

Garland holds a general contractors license in California and has a unique background in both commercial and residential construction. He served as head project coordinator for the construction of the beautiful Maui Aquarium. In 2008, he helped form Pacific Solar and currently manages project coordination, drafting custom layouts for solar systems and coordinating installations.
Michael Ward
VP // Valley Pacific Builders, Inc.
A Fresno State graduate, Michael has extensive electrical training through Sandau Electrical Engineering in Sacramento. He has worked on commercial and residential projects with Cal-Trans, PG&E, and underground utility and street lighting projects for new developments. As a co-founder of Pacific Solar, he manages design and technical details of each system, and heads research and development of new technologies.
